Lesson 2/2 Game Sense & Macro Strategy Pending

Anchoring vs. Rotating (CT Side)

Master the fundamentals. Read through the briefing below, then prove your knowledge in the final capstone quiz to secure your rewards.

On the CT side, giving up a bombsite for free loses you the round. You must understand your specific role based on where you spawn.

The Anchor: The Anchor is the player tasked with playing the extreme extremities of the map (e.g., B-site on Mirage, A-Pit on Inferno). As an Anchor, your job is to stay alive and delay a push as long as possible. You do not rotate until you physically see the bomb on your radar.

The Rotator: The Rotator plays central positions (e.g., Short/Connector on Mirage). You are the dynamic response unit. If your B-Anchor calls that they hear multiple footsteps, the Rotator immediately shifts toward B to help, while the A-Anchor stays put in case it's a fake.
